right or wrong. There are different types of designer knock offs.
There are the illegal ones which are "exact" copies of the
designer bag and break copyright laws and then there are styles
that resemble but do not break any laws.
What else is wrong is when a site sells knock offs as originals. In
fact that's more than wrong. That's fraud! In recent years this
has been a big problem especially on some sites like eBay. If you

Gucci, or another designer, make sure you get what you pay for.
Here's how to spot a fake designer bag.
1. Fabric
Designer handbags use top of the line fabric that has no flaws.
There will be no fake leather or fake skins. When you buy a
designer bag you will always get 100% the real thing every time.
If the purse is faux leather or made from an inferior fabric then it
will most likely be a knock off.
2. Detailing
A designer bag will have extra stitching, wonderful detailing in the
buckles and zippers such as a tiny diamond accent. Knock offs will
have no diamond touches or nice detailing, the stitching will be
basic and there will be nothing that stands it out from the rest
unlike a designer bag which is unique and takes hours to make.
3. Labels
Most designer bags have a custom label or logo on their purses
which is their mark of authenticity. You might find it on the
zipper, embossed on the bag, or even inside the bag. Know that
you are getting what you paid for. Knock offs won't have proper
markings.
4. Follow Your Gut
Follow your instincts. If it sounds too good to be true it probably
is. Designer bags don't magically fall in price to a fraction of their
